About Us
Connecting generosity to exceptional rural community healthcare at Clinton Public Hospital

With the generous help of our community, we are transforming our rural hospital experience

The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1996 as a non-profit organization, and is committed to the advancement of healthcare and the well-being of those served by the Clinton Public Hospital. The Clinton Public Hospital has earned a reputation for providing excellent patient care.

While funding is provided for the operational costs of hospitals in Ontario, the Ministry of Health does not provide funding for capital equipment. The Clinton Public Hospital relies on the commitment of the Foundation and the generosity of our community for such purchases. The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation raises money for equipment and upgrades to building infrastructure through donations, planned giving, fundraising events, grant opportunities, and more.

Continued local private financial support is crucial to keeping our hospital current and to keep pace with new technological advances in healthcare.  The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation gives people the opportunity to make an investment in their future.  When you give to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, through any of our fundraising activities, you are helping maintain high quality patient care at the Clinton Public Hospital.

Land Acknowledgment

Declaration and Statement

We would like to acknowledge that the land we stand upon today is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral peoples. We recognize the First Peoples’ continued stewardship of the land and water, and that this territory was subject to the Dish with One Spoon wampum, under which multiple nations agreed to care for the land and resources by the Great Lakes in peace.

We would also like to acknowledge and recognize the Upper Canada Treaties signed in regards to this land, which include Treaty #29 and Treaty #45 1/2, and our roles as treaty people, committed to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation, gratitude, and respect with all First Nation, Métis and Inuit people.
